Who does MBOC serve?

Established Maryland businesses in good standing that have been operating for at least two years and are currently generating revenue. Eligible nonprofits, schools, and churches may also qualify.

Is support really available at no cost?

Yes. MBOC services are provided at no cost to eligible businesses through SSBCI-funded technical assistance.

What types of help are available?

Funding and financial strategy, sales and marketing growth, business operations and planning, and legal and risk management.

What happens after I get started?

You complete a short questionnaire. MBOC reviews your priorities and connects you with the most relevant specialist or partner resource.

What if my business is newer than two years?

You will be guided to your regional Maryland Small Business Development Center for foundational advising and planning support.
